Now, before we dive into all the fun, networking, and collaboration at our events, we need to cover a few important details to ensure everyone’s safety and peace of mind. By participating in any of our events, activities, or experiences (collectively, “Events”), you agree to the following terms:

Waiver and Release of Liability

In exchange for being able to join our Events, you voluntarily waive and release The Hague Creators and our awesome team—members, partners, representatives, board members, agents, and volunteers (collectively, the “The Hague Creators Parties”)—from any and all liabilities. This includes any loss, damage, personal injury (including serious harm or death), property damage, theft, or negligence that might occur as a result of your travel to, attendance at, or participation in our Events. This waiver binds you and your personal representatives and is enforceable to the fullest extent of the law. If any part of this waiver is found invalid, the rest will still apply in full force.

Assumption of Risks

We love our vibrant, creative community, but let’s be real—things can happen. This could include travel, physical activities, and other unforeseen circumstances. By joining, you accept these risks and acknowledge that there may be risks we haven’t even considered. Yet, you still choose to participate. No promises or guarantees about safety have been made to you by The Hague Creators.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Hague Creators Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost that may arise from your participation in our Events. This applies whether the cause is negligence, active or passive, or anything else.

Governing Law

This waiver is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands and can only be enforced in courts located in the Netherlands.

Acknowledgment

You are an adult of sound mind and capable of entering into this agreement. You’ve read and fully understand the terms of this waiver and release. After having the chance to consult with an attorney (if you wish), you voluntarily consent to this waiver.

Zero Tolerance for Discriminatory Behavior

We’re all here to create and connect, and there’s absolutely no room for fuck-off behaviors like racism, sexism, discrimination, predatory actions, or any form of abuse or harassment. The Hague Creators has a zero-tolerance policy for such behavior. Anyone found engaging in these actions will be immediately and irreversibly banned from all future participation in our events and activities.
